About Detroit
Michigan's largest city and the centre of the American automobile industry. Its fortunes tracked the car makers closely through boom and decline.
Population about 4,296,000 at the game's 2010 snapshot.
Detroit is a business market: its traffic comes from companies and connections rather than from holidays, which rewards frequency over seat count.
