Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 September 2026
1. Who we are
Airline Legend ("Airline Legend", "we", "us", "our") is an online airline-management strategy game. Airline Legend is operated by Object IT Limited (NZBN 9429031476065), a company registered in New Zealand ("the Operator"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the Operator governing your access to and use of the Airline Legend website, game, and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are in the EU/EEA, you must be at least the age of digital consent in your country (between 13 and 16, depending on where you live). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful where you are.
3. Your account
You may register with an email address and password, or by signing in through a third-party provider we support (for example Google or Microsoft) — "single sign-on" or "SSO". You are responsible for:
- keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing your account;
- all activity that happens under your account; and
- telling us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You may link or unlink SSO providers from your account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, are used to abuse the Service, or as required by law.
4. The game and virtual items
Airline Legend is free to play. Jet Coins and any paid items are optional extras that save time and add convenience — you can play the full game without spending money. The Service includes an in-game currency called Jet Coins and other virtual items. Virtual items:
- are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use a feature of the Service;
- have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or anything of value outside the Service, and cannot be transferred between accounts; and
- may be added, changed, removed, or expired as the game evolves.
Jet Coins can be bought with real money. Additional purchase terms shown at the time of sale also apply. Purchases are for a licence to virtual items only, not for the transfer of ownership of anything.
5. Payments, who you are buying from, and refunds
Jet Coins are sold through two payment providers, and which one handles your purchase depends on the country of the billing address you give at checkout:
- Lemon Squeezy — for buyers in the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland. Lemon Squeezy LLC acts as the merchant of record for those sales — your receipt describes it as our authorised reseller, which means the same thing. That means Lemon Squeezy, not the Operator, is the seller of that transaction: it takes the payment, charges and remits the VAT, issues the invoice, and its name — not Airline Legend's — is what you will see on your card statement. Lemon Squeezy's own terms of service and refund policy apply to the sale itself, in addition to these Terms, and it handles the payment side of a refund.
- Stripe — for buyers everywhere else. The Operator is the seller of those sales, Stripe only processes the payment on our behalf, and Object IT Limited is the name that appears on your statement. Any sales tax or GST that applies is calculated and shown at checkout.
Either way, the Jet Coins are delivered to the same account and the game treats them identically, and these Terms continue to govern your account and your use of the Service. Prices are shown before you buy and include any tax that applies. We never receive or store your full card number — the payment provider collects your payment details directly.
Payment providers may change. If we change who sells to you, the change applies to purchases made after it takes effect, never retrospectively; the terms of a purchase are the ones shown to you at the time of that sale.
EU/EEA and UK consumers — right of withdrawal. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right is lost once delivery begins, if you have consented to delivery beginning straight away — and Jet Coins are delivered to your account immediately. Every sale in the EU/EEA, the UK, Norway and Switzerland — the places this right applies — is made by Lemon Squeezy, and that consent is given under Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms, which you accept when you buy from it: they record that you consent to immediate performance and that you lose the right of withdrawal once transmission of the digital content has begun. Where you have given that consent and delivery has begun, the withdrawal right no longer applies. This does not affect the refunds we offer anyway, which are set out in our Refund Policy.
Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, and except where the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other mandatory consumer law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, purchases of virtual items are final and non-refundable once delivered to your account. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
6. Fair play
The Service is server-authoritative: the game rules are enforced on our servers. You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, or interfere with the game's economy or other players;
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service; or
- use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
Jet Coins are designed to save time and add convenience, not to buy an unfair competitive advantage.
7. Your content
You may submit content (such as an airline name or messages to us). You keep ownership of what you submit, and you grant the Operator a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, and display it as needed to run the Service. You are responsible for what you submit and must not submit anything unlawful, infringing, or offensive. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.
8. Copyright and intellectual-property complaints
We respect intellectual-property rights and expect you to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice via the Contact us page with: your contact details; identification of the work and the material you say infringes it (including where it appears); a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised; a statement that your notice is accurate; and your electronic or physical signature. This is our notice-and-takedown process for the purposes of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the notice-and-action mechanism required by the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). We will act on valid notices, may remove or disable the material, and will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate cases. If you are affected by a removal, you may contact us to respond or submit a counter-notice.
9. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an ongoing basis but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including game worlds and features, and may reset or end game worlds as part of normal operation.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of virtual items or game progress. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights, statutory guarantees, or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you — including, where they apply, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, EU/UK consumer law, and mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by that law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as those on virtual items, disclaimers, and liability) continue to apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you before they take effect — such as a notice in the Service or by email — and, where the change materially affects your rights, give you a chance to reject it by closing your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Minor changes may take effect when posted.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights, or any right to bring proceedings in your local courts, that you have where you live.
14. Third-party content and advertising
The Service may include advertising and links to third-party websites, products, or services. Ads and third-party content are the responsibility of the third parties who provide them, and showing them is not an endorsement by us. Any dealings you have with third parties, including advertisers, are between you and them. Advertising and analytics partners may use cookies or similar identifiers as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party content, sites, or their privacy practices.
15. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and the Operator about the Service and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to an affiliate or successor, for example as part of a reorganisation or sale of the business, without reducing your rights. Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
