Refund Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This page explains when you can get your money back for a Jet Coins purchase, and how to ask. It sits alongside the Terms of Service, whose section 5 governs payments; where the two differ, the Terms govern. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
1. What you are buying, and who from
Jet Coins are virtual items delivered to your account immediately after payment. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the Service, and cannot be moved between accounts. Airline Legend is free to play; Jet Coins are optional.
Who sold them to you depends on where you are, and it decides whose name is on your card statement:
- EU/EEA, United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland — the seller is Lemon Squeezy LLC, acting as merchant of record, which your receipt calls our authorised reseller. Your statement will show Lemon Squeezy rather than Airline Legend. That is the charge you are looking for, and it is not an unknown one. Any VAT on the receipt was charged and is remitted by Lemon Squeezy.
- Everywhere else — the seller is Object IT Limited, the Operator, and the payment is processed by Stripe. Your statement will show Object IT Limited.
Ask us either way — see section 5. Where Lemon Squeezy is the seller, we ask it to issue the refund and it moves the money; the decision in section 2 is still ours, so you do not have to go and argue with a payment company to get it.
2. When we refund
We will refund you in full, without asking why, if:
- you were charged and the Jet Coins never arrived. If a payment succeeded but your balance did not change, tell us and we will either deliver the Jet Coins or refund the payment, whichever you prefer.
- you were charged twice for the same purchase.
- the charge was not made by you. Contact us and your payment provider; we will refund the payment and secure the account.
- you bought Jet Coins by mistake and have not spent any of them. Ask within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it. Once Jet Coins have been spent, the thing they bought exists in a live game other people are playing in, and that cannot be undone.
3. When we do not refund
- Jet Coins you have already spent. Spending a Jet Coin changes a world other players share.
- Purchases you regret after playing. A world that went badly is the game working.
- Accounts closed for breaking the Terms. Jet Coins are forfeited with the account.
- Jet Coins removed or changed as the game evolves. Section 4 of the Terms covers this. If we retire something you paid for, we will replace it with something of equivalent value rather than leave you short.
4. EU/EEA and UK consumers
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right is lost once delivery begins, if you have consented to delivery beginning straight away — and Jet Coins are delivered immediately. Every sale in the countries where this right applies is made by Lemon Squeezy, and that consent is given under its buyer terms, which you accept when you buy from it. Where you gave that consent and the Jet Coins were delivered, the statutory withdrawal right no longer applies — but the refunds in section 2 still do, and they are not affected by it.
5. How to ask
Use the Contact us page, or simply reply to your purchase receipt — it reaches the same place. Write from the email address on the account if you can, and include the approximate date and amount of the purchase. You do not need the order number; we can find it. We aim to reply within 3 business days.
Refunds go back to the original payment method, through whichever provider took the payment. Your bank or provider usually posts it within 5 to 10 business days after we issue it, and we cannot make that part faster. If Jet Coins from a refunded purchase are still in your balance, we remove them when the refund is issued.
6. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please contact us before asking your bank to reverse the charge. A chargeback costs us a fee we cannot recover and freezes the account while the provider investigates, and in almost every case we would simply have refunded you. If you are looking at a statement line you do not recognise, read section 1 first — for buyers in Europe the charge is billed by Lemon Squeezy, not by Airline Legend.
7. Contact
Airline Legend is operated by Object IT Limited (NZBN 9429031476065), New Zealand. For anything about a payment, use the Contact us page — including purchases where Lemon Squeezy was the seller. Section 5 of the Terms of Service sets out which of the two sells to you.
