About Salt Lake City
Utah's capital, on a high valley floor beside the Great Salt Lake with mountains on three sides. The centre of the Mormon church, mining and skiing, and unusually isolated from other large cities.
Population about 1,536,000 at the game's 2010 snapshot.
Salt Lake City is a business market: its traffic comes from companies and connections rather than from holidays, which rewards frequency over seat count.
