About Berlin
Germany's historic capital, divided between West and East for most of the Cold War and surrounded by East German territory. Its isolation made air links a political lifeline.
Population about 3,450,000 at the game's 2010 snapshot.
Berlin is a business market: its traffic comes from companies and connections rather than from holidays, which rewards frequency over seat count.
