About Frankfurt
German financial capital on the Main river, home to the country's central bank and stock exchange. Its central European position makes it a natural interchange.
Population about 2,200,000 at the game's 2010 snapshot.
Frankfurt is a business market: its traffic comes from companies and connections rather than from holidays, which rewards frequency over seat count.
