British Aerospace Avro-RJ70
The Avro RJ70 of 1993 was the modernised smallest member of the 146 family, with updated engines, avionics and cabin, seating around 70. The "Regional Jet" rebrand aimed to keep the design competitive against new rivals like the CRJ. It offered the 146's unique short-field, low-noise qualities in a refined package.
