Boeing 777-9
The 777-9 is the largest twinjet ever, stretching the 777X to seat over 400 as the modern successor to both the 747 and the 777-300ER. Its folding wingtips and new engines aim to cut costs sharply on the densest long-haul routes. After years of delay it targets entry into service in the mid-2020s, carrying Boeing's hopes at the very top of the market.
