COMAC C909
The C909 is the 2024 rebranding of the ARJ21 regional jet, aligning its name with COMAC's C919 and C929 family as the type matures and expands. The roughly 90-seat aircraft continues to grow its fleet with Chinese carriers and has begun modest exports to Southeast Asia. The new name signals China's intent to market a coherent family of home-grown airliners on the world stage.
