British Aircraft Corporation BAC-1-11-500
The BAC One-Eleven 500 of 1968 was the stretched version, seating around 100–120 with a longer fuselage and improved wing for British and European operators. It gave the family its maximum capacity, serving short-haul routes into the 1990s. Late examples were even built under licence in Romania, extending its long career.
