Embraer ERJ-145
The ERJ-145 of 1996 was the original and best-selling Embraer regional jet, seating around 50 with rear-mounted engines and a slim fuselage. It competed head-to-head with the CRJ200 and made Embraer a global regional-jet power through the late 1990s and 2000s. Hundreds still fly, and its airframe even served as a military surveillance platform.
