Xi'an Aircraft Industrial Y-7
The Xi'an Y-7 of the 1980s was a Chinese twin turboprop derived from the Soviet Antonov An-24, seating around 50 for domestic regional routes. For years it was one of the few home-built airliners serving China's growing internal network, before Western imports took over. It gave China early experience operating and building a domestic passenger aircraft.
