Fokker 100
The Fokker 100 of 1988 was a modernised, stretched F28 with efficient engines and a glass cockpit, seating around 100. It sold well to regional and full-service carriers through the early 1990s as a comfortable 100-seat jet. But Fokker's financial collapse in 1996 ended production, cutting short a well-regarded aircraft and closing a storied aviation name.
