Airbus A220-100
The A220-100 began life as the Bombardier CSeries CS100, a clean-sheet Canadian design that entered service in 2016 before Airbus took over the programme in 2018. This modern 100–135 seat jet features composite wings, geared turbofans and a wide, comfortable cabin, offering excellent efficiency in a size the big two had long neglected. Under Airbus it found new momentum, ideal for opening thin routes and right-sizing frequencies.
