The A321neo, in service since 2017, pairs the largest single-aisle fuselage with new efficient engines, seating up to 244 at the lowest seat-mile cost of any narrowbody. It has become a runaway best-seller as airlines use it to add capacity and open new routes without stepping up to a widebody.
