Boeing 737-900ER
The 737-900ER of 2007 added an extra pair of exit doors and more fuel, finally unlocking the full 220-seat potential of the stretched airframe and extending its range. It was Boeing's largest 737 before the MAX, competing directly with the A321 for high-density and holiday routes. Carriers like United and Lion Air took it in quantity to squeeze more seats out of each departure.
