Saab 2000
The Saab 2000 of 1994 was a stretched, high-speed turboprop seating around 50, designed to match regional jets on cruise speed while burning less fuel. Technically impressive, it arrived just as airlines rushed to regional jets for their image, limiting sales. It remains a fast, capable aircraft admired by those who flew it, and Saab's last airliner.
