Boeing 737-800
Introduced in 1998, the 737-800 was the star of Boeing's Next Generation family, arriving just as low-cost carriers were reshaping air travel on both sides of the Atlantic. Seating up to 189 with a strong balance of range, capacity and low operating cost, it became the backbone of budget and mainline narrowbody fleets worldwide. Built in the thousands, it was for two decades the definitive short-to-medium-haul jet.
