Boeing 777-200
The 777 entered service in 1995 as Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner and the first designed entirely on computers, a clean-sheet twinjet built to replace ageing early widebodies. The baseline 777-200 seated around 300 or more and offered twin-engine efficiency at a size once reserved for three- and four-engined jets. It reset expectations for what a big twinjet could do.
