Boeing 757-200
The 757-200 arrived in 1983 as Boeing's larger narrowbody, replacing the 727 with a modern two-engine, two-crew design. Its oversized engines and strong wing gave it exceptional takeoff performance and range, letting it fly transatlantic and out of hot, high or short airports with ease. Beloved by pilots and hugely versatile, it became a workhorse for US majors and European charters, and nothing has quite replaced its unique blend of range and runway performance.
