Airbus A310-200
The A310 of 1983 was a shortened, advanced derivative of the A300 with a new wing and, later, a two-crew glass cockpit that set a template for modern flight decks. The -200 was the baseline medium-haul version, seating around 220. It gave Airbus a smaller widebody and won orders from carriers like Lufthansa and Air France as the consortium's line matured.
