Boeing 777-300

The 777-300 of 1998 was a major stretch seating up to 550, built as a direct, more efficient replacement for early 747s on dense regional routes in Asia. Its twin engines offered big savings over the four-engined jumbo where ultra-long range wasn't needed. The extra length demanded ground-manoeuvring cameras, a first for the type.
