Boeing 777-300ER
The 777-300ER of 2004 combined the big stretch with long-range tanks and more powerful engines, and became the most successful large twinjet ever built. Through the 2000s and 2010s it became the default replacement for the 747 on premium long-haul routes, carrying around 350 passengers with better economics than any four-engined jet. For many airlines it was, and remains, the flagship of the fleet.
