Bombardier DHC-8-100
The de Havilland Canada Dash 8-100 of 1984 was a twin turboprop for regional routes, seating around 37–40, designed for good short-field performance and fuel economy. It arrived when turboprops were being written off in favour of jets, yet its efficiency kept it valuable on short thin routes. It launched the durable Dash 8 line that continues in service worldwide.
