Boeing 707-320C
The 707-320C of 1963 was the convertible version, with a large forward cargo door and a strengthened floor so an airline could switch it between passengers and freight. It arrived as air cargo was becoming a serious business, and its flexibility made it a favourite of combination carriers. Many outlived their passenger siblings hauling freight, and the type helped build the global air-freight networks of the jet age.
