Boeing 707-320B
By 1962 the intercontinental 707-320B added quieter, more efficient turbofan engines and a wider, longer wing, giving it the range to fly nonstop across the Atlantic fully loaded. It became the definitive long-haul 707 that carried the surging international traffic of the 1960s. More than any single aircraft, the 320B made routine intercontinental jet travel a reality for the world's flag carriers.
