McDonnell Douglas DC-8-62
The DC-8-62 of 1967 was the long-range Super Sixty, with a modest stretch, cleaner engine pods and extended wingtips for extra reach. It flew some of the longest routes of its day, linking distant cities nonstop across oceans and polar routes. Prized for its range and efficiency, many enjoyed unusually long working lives.
