McDonnell Douglas MD-87
The MD-87 of 1987 was the shortened member of the MD-80 family, seating around 130 with the family's long range in a smaller package. Its trimmed fuselage suited thinner routes and gave it a slightly different, stubbier profile among the long MD-80s. Airlines like SAS and Austrian used it to right-size capacity without losing commonality.
