McDonnell Douglas DC-8-63
The DC-8-63 of 1967 combined the long fuselage of the -61 with the aerodynamic and range improvements of the -62, making it the ultimate Super Sixty. Carrying the most passengers or cargo the furthest, it was the most capable DC-8 of all. It served long-haul passenger routes and then had a second career as a favoured freighter well into the 2000s.
